GENERATIVE ART
By generative art we mean art that
generates art.
In the field of generative art, and
specifically in the field of digital creations, software generates the work. Or
rather, it is the code that generates the creation. There is art in knowing how
to write it. There is art in knowing how to put together the vectors it offers.
Technology is used in the service of art, not the other way round. The work
comes not from fantastic software but from a brilliant idea. The works produced
are brilliant sketches in black and white where the code is the pen and the
artist is the mind. Urban and virtual landscapes. Works of fantasy. But always
with energy and movement. Just ask the code!
